Haïma (blood) has been composed in 2016 right after Under Desert. *haïma: from the ancient greek – blood
The composition is constructed with the combination of eight intervals which combine progressively to form chords, from smooth to very gritty ones, alternating fluidity, tensions and saturations. The idea of saturation here exist by the duration of the chords, static and moving at the same time, each layers living in a particular temporality, sometimes with some inner pulsations.
Haïma should be perceived as a sea of blood flooding permanently our listenning; an inner flood of harmonics and noise stratifications, also a different orientation of my usual compositions for synthesizer in a sense where I tend to tame here the wild nature of the total modular beast. A slow evolving contruction which gives to the listenner a massive orchestral sensation.
